Sandra Richardson-Hope was born in Warrenton, North Carolina and is a Citizen of the Haliwa-Saponi Indian Tribe of NC. She attended the Haliwa Indian School before being "integrated" into public schools in Warren County.
Sandra is an entrepreneur and go-getter and considers herself a “Jill with many skills” who learns by doing. She is the founder of two technology businesses, a film and media company called “Stolen Nation”, and an indigenous “unity media” database called FindANative.com.
Her ambition is to "re-indigenize" Turtle Island and bring visibility, opportunity, and equity to Turtle Island's indigenous descendants. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two sons.
